Co-Pastor Patricia WomackRev. Patricia Womack accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into her life at the early age of ten and was baptized at the Springfield Baptist Church in Washington, DC. Her music ministry began at the age of 12 by accepting the position of pianist for the Sunday School Department. This ministry led to other musical opportunities, by serving as pianist & director for several choirs of the Church. She has also served as Minister of Music and Choir Director at the Maple Springs Baptist Church in Capitol Heights, MD.
Reverend Womack is married to Lawrence E. Womack, Sr., Pastor of the Faith, Deliverance and Resurrection Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro, MD. She is the proud mother of 5 and grandmother of eight. She was called to preach the gospel and licensed on Sunday, June 10, 2001, and she was ordained on Saturday, June 27, 2009. Reverend Patricia Womack is a University of Maryland Alumni, the 1st Lady of FDRBC, Founder, Chief Operating Officer & Financial Officer of FDR Outreach Community Center Inc. (OCCI), a member of the Living Loving and Learning Coalition in PG County, Maryland, a member of “Who’s Who” and continues to support her Church as Co-Pastor & Minister of Music. She earned her Masters of Non-Profit Management and is also a Notary Public. Rev. Womack realizes once again that her ministry has taken her to another level and that is the “Women’s Ministry,” which has provided her numerous opportunities to minister and share with today’s generation of young girls and women of all ages. She is BORN AGAIN, SAVED, AND LOVES THE LORD. Two of her favorite sayings are “I’ve Been Delivered” and “Still, The Best Is Yet to Come.” One of her favorite scriptures is: 2 Chronicles 7:14 - “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” |
